Hanlon and Wright carried out the exchanging of 3 x 10 ton units, along with their steel bases at a major store in the North East, the job had to take place once all the staff had vacated the premises after 9.00pm due to the store being open 7 days a week. we had to work closely with the local council, adjoining church and several local businesses to obtain a road closure, the public and traffic had to be re-routed, and kept away from the working area. We disconnected the units on the roof area, unbolted them from their bases and skated them to the front of the building using jacks and skates, our 200 ton crane with full ballast lifted the units down and onto our waiting transport for removal from site. The new bases were craned upto the roof area, where we rebuilt and positioned,  the new units were then craned onto the roof area, we then skated them into position using jacks and skates, fastened to the steel bases and reconnected the electrics.
